I been having some minor medical issues lately and after many trips to the doctor, today I received a diagnosis. I have Polyocystic Ovarian Syndrome. This is most likely the reason behind why I been having difficulty losing weight. The doctor informed me that the best way to deal with the symptoms was to exercise (I think this was way of politely telling me that I carry a few extra pounds.) The faster I kiss the syndrome goodbye, the better my chances are of lowering my risk of diabetes and ovarian cancer. I began today with a 1.4 mile walk on my lunch break and I hope to keep this up. I am also looking forward to a trip to the Carribean in less than five It would be a huge benefit to feel comfortable with my body while there. I'm sure I'll fall off the wagon...yet again, but with any luck these two will be enough incentive to keep jumping back on!
