One of the hardest things for me the first 2 months was the 8 cups of water. Eventually my daughter mentioned she drinks hers during, before and after exercise. I had been trying to drink near meals. When I switched to her method, it all fell into place.
Another thing I am doing differently is using a smaller water bottle, not a bigger one like I started with. I discovered I could finish the small bottle because there was 'only a few more swallows.' Before, the large water bottle was just too intimidating. I would sip, and of course rarely drain it.
I had really doubted I would reach this point, yet here I am.
Another area of progress? I had been exercising every day.............walking 20 minutes or so, plus maybe a short video. Then, I got the spark tracker. I do 10,000 steps most days, and usually reach at least an hour of fitness.
Results? Yes, smaller jeans. Finally tossing some of my older pants and tops.
I am still old.......but for right now, my insides are feeling younger. Ok, 'old' is a relative term, but my relatives think I'm old.
