It is challenging .... When I started Paleo/Primal to lose weight, feel better. Had to change the Spark Nutrition tracker for those %s by doing some math. Had them set then after about a week the tracker reset those. So I had to figure out the math again but this time I put it in a MS Word document.
My breakdown for 1200-1550 daily calories using those rations is Carbs 60-77 gms, Fat 53-68 gms - Protein 120-155 gms.
Some of my challenges is eating enough protein without going over my carbs & fat limits. So I have eaten Tilapia, Tuna, Sadines, Shrimp, eggs, protein powder drink.
Yesterday I made the FatFlush soup which makes 10-12 servings, added recipe to my Spark cookbook and then to my nutrition tracker yesterday, today, and tomorrow for Lunch & Dinner. It's yummy and filling. I still need more protein so Tilapia fillets (8oz) added for yesterday's dinner and today's lunch. Not sure what protein I will have for tomorrow's lunch.
I do have atleast one cheat day during the weekend.
Today I am also adding 0 calorie drink before each meal. 2 tsp of Braggs Organic Apple Cider (must contain the mother), minimum 8 oz of purified or distilled water & optional to taste 1-2 tsp organic honey or 100% maple or 4 drops of Stevia.
But I am determined to get this excess fat off my body!
