Week Two Review

"Habit is habit and not to be flung out of the window by any man, but coaxed downstairs a step at a time." ~Mark Twain

So, week two was a rough one. My daughter had a soccer tournament this weekend and a college tour on Monday. All were out of town so there was no real schedule or plan when it came to meals/exercise. I'd like to be able to claim that I tried really hard anyway, but the truth is, I didn't. Especially when it came to the fro-yo on Sunday and the soup/salad/breadstick lunch at Olive Garden on Monday. YUM!

What I learned this weekend is that life happens. And I'm not going to be perfect all the time. The reason I'm ok with this, and not chalking my entire life up to a complete failure like usual, is because I did something that I don't normally do when life gets in the way of my journey. I got back online the next day and worked to turn things around. Usually when I throw caution to the wind it continues for the next several days...maybe even weeks. Not this time. I got back to tracking right away on Tuesday, and though it was a bit of a struggle and I kept wanting to eat so badly, I managed to stay within my calorie range (with the help of some exercise).

And now, time for how the week panned out:

Start Weight: 188
End Weight: 187.2 (down 0.8 pounds in spite of it all!)
