Ok, so I missed the past couple weigh in blogs, and I wanted to get back on track with that, so here I am.
I have been actively using Spark People again for approximately 5 weeks now, and I have lost a total of 12.75 pounds, which is just about 2.55 pounds per week.
I am SO pumped and SO motivated, and most importantly, SO proud of myself!!!
To enhance my motivation, I actually ordered a SPARK Activity Tracker (I think they're calling it a SPAT for short?) last week, and I am SOOOOOO excited to get it and start using it!!!! I really think it will give me a daily visual that will remind me of my goals and encourage me not to give up, which might help me stay on track. Plus, I'm anxious to start working toward daily goals and getting those Glow Getter awards! :)
I have to admit, I was kind of surprised that I lost weight this week, especially since I had gained half a pound at the last weigh in, and I "slipped" a little over the weekend. The weekends seem to be harder for me... I kick total ass on meeting my goals and staying within my ranges during the week, but once the weekend hits, I end up having a couple beers with my husband and don't track them, I'll have a snack and not track it, etc. In all honestly, I had actually considered changing my weigh in days to Friday mornings instead of Wednesday mornings, that way if I "slipped" on weekends, I had all week to make up for it.... but you know what? I'm gonna keep these Weigh-in Wednesdays. I can do it. I'm up for the challenge. ;)
