For those of my friends who do not work around the Information Technologies (IT) folks, PICNIC means "problem in chair, not in computer." Although this week, it's been just the opposite!! I've had to really consider how upset it makes me to have "problem in computer" or in this case - problems in computers and cell phones.
Without going into the whole long boring song and dance about the this-and-that details, suffice it to say that the geek who came to my house to help me get everything set up was here for four hours and left with many major things undone. And frustrated. Even more frustrated than me. As I told him, welcome to my world!!
Today, I get to take the new laptop back to Best Buy - about a 100 mile round-trip - to find out why the virus protection product key continues to be "invalid." Oh bother!!
So as I'm on this electronic roller coaster, which is no picnic, I keep remembering all the lovely posters that my Spark friends have added to their Blogs - basically the message has been, when you can't change circumstances, change your attitude!
So today my goal is to stay calm no matter what new electronic glitch comes my way. I'm going to walk my steps (I have 6,000 in already this morning since I made it a priority - yay me) and eat my Plan and end the day with some yoga and meditation.
Problem in computer, not in chair!!
