Woke up still struggling inside...so been reading a book by Charles Stanley and talking to God this AM. A great way to start the day.

Son and daughter in law were told by social worker to keep their lawyer appointment to keep moving forward. Were told the birth mother also contacted her lawyer and they forwarded the billing to them...adoption parents foot the bill for both sides. They really like their lawyer. She is licensed all over the US in adoption and embryonics stuff and is an expert. She will be with them for the whole six months process. So they move forward cautiously...not wanting to be disappointed again when they are so close and can actually see him. Next social worker will be mapping out a plan with physcologist on how best to make the transitions for the child so it makes it less tramatic for him. Birth mother is wanting it done before she goes away to school Dec 1...so it can move quickly. They still have the court hearing where the Grandmother can opt to take him and raise him....another hurdle up ahead...but time will tell. Trusting God to work it out in His timing and in His way.

In the middle of this hubby and son travel this Thursday to purchase some of the equipment for their business.

Plus we have company coming for a long weekend and inviting friends over so they can spend time with company on Sunday after church.

Felt like I got some things accomplished last night as I got the menu planned out and grocery list made out.

Cooking ham today so I can slice it and serve it Saturday evening for dinner. Since our guests aren't eating wheat...trying to think of things to serve that don't include breads. Sunday afternoon we're grilling out so if they don't want to eat breads they can choose not to but other guests will probably eat buns on the hamburgers and hot dogs. We'll see how dedicated they are to this latest craze of eating they are on.

Off to make it a great day!

    Love your philosophy....
I am vegan and people so stress out as to what they are going to serve me to eat....And you know...I nevre go hungry...
There is usually salad and veg that i can eat and I am a happy camper...
If we are dedicated to what we chose to eat then we will find something that works for us

I hope everything goes well for your son and daughter-in-law. It is certainly a trying time for them, not exactly knowing what is around the next corner.
