I played golf, badly, this weekend, which may or may not have contributed to this pulled muscle plaguing me. That led to blc teammates suggesting I check out Robin Williams' bit on the origins of the sport.

So yeah, I've been intermittently laughing my arse off today, which eventually made me feel less grumpy (although, a call from the home office about a possible position which might cause me to miss that wedding I'm supposed to go to on November 1st is making me very confused on whether I should hope I get it or not), and eventually made the pain become less apparent (probably no connection there), and think, hey, maybe I should go to the gym, so I did. 35 minutes on the elliptical, no big deal. Quarter mile walking, eh, not much of a problem. 20-25 jogging strides HOLY CRAP THAT HURTS.
yep, the PITA struck again, and while at least today it isn't somehow shooting through my knee and down to my ankle, it's kicking me HARD in the glutes right now, to the point where I'm lying in bed typing this, and trying to figure out which way to get most comfortable so the butt don't throb all night. And if you just imagined something dirty there, please take your mind out of the gutter. I won't be held responsible for whatever you're imagining.
So, now I'm trying to figure out where I should park for the ballgame tomorrow, and trying to figure out the balance between cheap prices (other side of the freeway) and distance I'd have to hobble. Guess I'll find out in the morning whether I'm capable of walking any real distance, because right now, it freakin' hurts, even if it is just a slightly pulled muscle, as far as I can tell).
