Why does the scale keep going up and down?!?!?

Tuesday, October 15, 2013

It really is frustrating! One day the scale goes down, and a couple days later it reads a pound or two higher! ARRRGGGHHHHH!!!

So, I am now going to stay away from the scale. I vow to visit it no more than once a week. Now, what day should I check in................. emoticon

So many factors can affect the number the scale reads out on a daily basis, food left in your system, water, hormones, etc, that the daily fluctuations can do a number on your brain. It doesn't matter which day you pick, if you weighed yesterday, pick that day, stick to your program, and weigh again on that day next week. And don't freak out! emoticon

Most people can't handle the frustration of daily fluctuations on the scale, that's why the opt for weekly weigh-ins instead. I, on the other hand, find that daily weigh-ins keep me on the straight and narrow.
Whatever works for you and still leaves you motivated enough to go on would be the best choice for you. Keep up the good work.
