Tuesday, October 15, 2013

cat·a·lyst noun \ˈka-tə-ləst
1: a substance that causes a chemical reaction to happen more quickly
2: a person or event that quickly causes change or action

By sharing your story, you never know when something you say might resonate with someone else, they might try every single thing you say with no results...but then again, you might say one little thing in passing that will change their entire life for the better, it might be the ONE thing they needed to hear, or the one little bit of information they they were missing....or they might just be the inspiration YOU needed to change something.

I hope I am a catalyst, in chemistry the opposite of a catalyst is an inhibitor or an antagonist. A catalyst can also work negatively in which case it is a retardant. A catalyst works by binding the molecules together to speed the reaction, so Spark People really is the catalyst of catalysts. emoticon
I know that a lot of what you write has kept me on track by your encouragement and sense of humour, so you are definitely a catalyst.
