So I'm still battling the morning snots, which is partially just because it's that time of year, and partially because I still have one more dose of antibiotic to take today.
I actually felt good enough after work to do a training walk, since I missed two being sick. I did 2.25 miles around the lake at the park. The weather was perfect, but probably didn't help with snot issue. My right heel and ankle are sore today.
It's supposed to rain the rest of the week, so I'll be walking on my mom's new treadmill today and Thursday. I'm not sure it's something I'd want to do often, but it's probably better than walking in a thunderstorm. So, there's that.
Ok, so I mentioned last week sometime that I discovered a plus size underwear subscription service. I got my order on Friday. I haven't worn any of the pairs all day long but I have tried everything on.
Pair One: Bikini Cut (blue with pink hearts, ruffles around the waist) This was a kind of mesh/lace material. They're lower cut then I typically wear, but the fit was nice and I think as long as the ruffle isn't too obvious under my clothes I'll really like them. I think the brand is called SpreeGirl.
Pair Two: Brief/maybe high-cut (tan/nude) These are what's considered a seamless or no lines brief. They looked small and the material seemed thick, like they're supposed to be shapewear. These fit surprisingly well! I was impressed, though I cannot remember the brand.
Pair Three: Tanga, or a weird string bikini cut (black) These were all lace, and looked very sexy. Until I put them on. They were not flattering at all. While they did technically fit and I could wear them in a pinch, they just weren't cut right for my shape. The front part was just cut way too small and the effect was really bad. These were by Fredrick's of Hollywood.
I also went on an underwear buying spree at Lane Bryant because they had a $3.99 sale and got a bunch of different cuts/styles.
I feel better now that I have some underwear that fit again. And, it's amazing what something as simple as underwear can do for how you feel about yourself.
