Here I go again. I begin my weightloss journey once more. It has been a long pause between. I have started and began doing then got knocked off track by my cancer. Again. I went thru chemo. I had mega doses of steroids. I got thru it all. Again. Now time to take charge and get my body back. I begin at a higher weight than ever ( I hate steroids!) . I begin with a body that has not been able to do much for too long. I begin .....AGAIN.

Just one day at a time, you can do it. I have no experience with chemo or treatments, I just want you to know - I am here for you and I know you can do it. Just one decision at a time.

I had steroids with some of the chemo I had 10 years ago; I hated them, even though I only had to take them 3 days per week, I know many that have to take them with chemo have take them all the time. I just remember how awful I felt on the day they started wearing off.

I gained weight when I was on Tamoxifen, and that was around the time I joined Spark People in 2006.

I am now on chemo again, and I have pain issues that make it hard to exercise, but I have found chair exercises to be helpful; there is actually a chair exercise team here on Spark that I belonged to for a while, (I left it because the team leader was kind of bossy), and I also like Jody Stolove's chair aerobic DVD workouts.

Wishing you all the best on your journey!
