Today is my last vacation day. I'm happy to report that it was fairly uneventful, even restful! Tonight is Zumba night, but I forewent it to stay with the family. All was not lost though. I'm almost at my step goal after a shopping trip and a walk this afternoon. It was such a beautiful, sunny day today!
I did 50 squats and a 48 second plank today. The plank was shorter than usual because my knee was really hurting. I like combining those two exercises. I think I'll alternate those each day with a wallsit and pushups. I did 5 sets of pushups totalling 72 yesterday. 100 is definitely in sight!

I am...and I didn't even realize it! It took a read through the list and really contemplating it before I got it. Among other things, I now know I have limiting beliefs that are holding me back. They creep in during moments of weakness and often result in me overeating. A thought in the back of my mind says, "It's okay to backslide because you weren't going to succeed anyway."
It was incredibly hard to admit that I have thoughts like that. Seriously, I struggled even to admit it to myself! So, it was a lightbulb moment. Now, what do I do with it? Now that I'm aware of it, I plan to substitute the limiting beliefs with positive affirmations. I do amazing stuff every day. I will not be my own obstacle!
