Ever cooked out in the winter? (Ok, ok, its not *quite* winter yet, but its getting here!)
While grilled food IS better for you than the heavier fare that we usually indulge in during the cold months, that isn't really why I suggest it.
It's awesome, lol! Not so much the standing out in the cold part, but the shock to your senses part! You would be surprised how much you might associate grilled food only with summertime. It's a good surprise for your tastebuds too!
I also get an emotional kick out of eating grilled foods in the wintertime too. It makes me think of warm weather and lots of sunshine.
Don't get me wrong, I love stews, bread, and chili in the winter (and am constantly working to make them healthier), but a couple of good grill-outs in the winter breaks up the monotony....and the calories!
