Overall the day was okay.
Family wasn't terribly horrid. I tried to keep busy with helping so I wouldn't have to talk too much to a couple of the more dreaded family members in particular.
Nobody said anything about my weight loss.
They had a ton of fatty foods. Everything seemed to be prepared with butter. ugh.
I tried to limit my carbs and loaded up on veggies & protein. Had very small pieces of dessert. (come on its Thanksgiving!)
Overall I did go over my calories for the day - but it wasn't too bad. I ate very light & healthy before going and I made sure to get to the gym before I did anything this morning.
I was also in the negative for my daily calorie differential, so that made me feel a little better!
I know, I know, going to the gym doesn't cancel out what you eat and I shouldn't be focused on calorie differential reports - but this is my 1st big Holiday Dinner & I needed a little extra re-assurance today.
I'm confident in myself that I know this won't derail me back to my old habits. I've come too far to go back now!
The real challenge for me is going to be Christmas....
