On Your Mark, Get Set....GO!!

Ah, Monday! Not usually my favorite day of the week...but a good time to start my Focus 13 plan!

I had fully intended to get up early this morning and work out at home, but my only workout was hitting the snooze on my alarm! On the plus side, I did get almost 8 hours of sleep! I think I was asleep somewhat close to midnight, which is 2 hours earlier than my "old" bedtime. Guess I shouldn't have taken a nap in the afternoon!

So far this morning, I've had 20 oz. of water (with Spark), an Apple Danish from the machine (which I won't do again...that thing has 420 calories!) and orange juice. I need to go buy myself some healthy breakfast bars or something for when I'm running late at home. Can't do 420 calories too often! The good thing is that I didn't snack as I usually do. I think drinking the Spark helped. It really cuts the appetite!

Monday nights are my tough nights because I go directly from work to Sweet Adelines. Need to find something healthy to eat along the way. I like to stop at McDonald's because they have the calories written next to their menu items so I know what I'm getting. Obviously don't want to do that too often, though!

    It seems like any fast food place is not the best for getting good nutrition along with not too many calories!
