Rich people problems

Monday, October 14, 2013

My father in law's wife is not my favorite person. My mother in law passed away about 15 years ago and he remarried rather quickly. She is super self absorbed and selfish which makes me nuts, but that is besides the point.

My husband asked her over dinner last night if she was looking at buying the new Rolls Royce or the new Bentley since she gets a new one every year about this time. She looked at him with the most pitiful expression and said, "No. With these terrible markets I'm poor. I have to get a Masarati instead."

Oh to have her problems.....

My goodness what a problem sshe has. The great majority of us will never be able to buy any one those cars new at that. My husband had a cousin who was very wealthy and all she ever did was complain about losing money in the economy --oh and snapping her fingers thinking everyone would jump for her all the time. To me that isn't a life I would want to live--dream yes, but I'm happy, don't have any large sum of money to feel as if I am gettting poorer when the economy isn't going so well.

Okay, my comment will be different from everyone elses...while everyone laughs and scoffs at the absurdity of it all, I will be honest and say

"I want one!!"

So, she tries to fill the hole in her heart hey. Sounds like all of us. We simply use different forms to do it.

Well that's sad. I feel sorry for her, she doesn't get it. All you can do is pray for her.
