Ok, so I'm on this real food journey now... only at the very start, but so far doing really great.... having managed two days, is better then none, right??? Anyways, one part of this real food journey is healthy fats. No more low fat, thank you very much. Everything inside me wants to tell me "THIS IS SO WRONG!!!", yet generally low fat foods are way more processed and other things are added... stabilizers... thickeners... things I can't even pronounce.
So here I am, teaching myself to eat full fat things... very sceptically I admit. I feel fuller though and more satisfied. But that might just be my imagination.
I'm really happy with my food choices today... omlette for brekkie, a salad for lunch, inclusive bacon, egg and cheese, fish curry for dinner AND a avocado banana date pudding for dessert, no sugar except for the dates and ou so yummmmm!!!!
We also had the first real day of spring.... so of course we went to the beach, the dog, the boys and I. How I love Australian summer days (okay, it's only spring, but it was SUCH a lovely day!!!)
