Hot Yoga - Perfect for Winter Exercise

With my impending trip overseas at the end of the month, my monthly sessions at Krank Systems have been suspended which is unfortunate because I think that I started to like going to them. My clothes fit better, I'm slowly losing weight although I'm hovering at 234.4 lbs maybe I'll push through soon.
A groupon for hot yoga was purchased in June & I wound up using it at Fireshapers Hot Yoga in North Haledon, NJ. There are 3 other locations in Nyack, NY; Westwood, NJ; and Rutherford, NJ but I haven't gone to those locations yet.
Compared w/ Krank, it's seems less stressing on the muscles but requires that the practitioner is well hydrated since the room that the yoga is being taught in is between 80-90 degrees with 40-60% humidity depending on the instructor.
So far, I've attended 2 sessions over the course of 2 weeks. The groupon is unlimited classes for the month for $29 but I just haven't gone as much as I should have although from a web search, there's a ton of "hot yoga" gyms in my area that offer good deals for the 1st month's trial.
Since winter is coming (thank you Ned Stark), I thought that it might be a place to try out for others to find a hot yoga gym in their neighborhood to give it a try to help lose weight, develop core strength, & improve flexibility. Just have to remember to hydrate.
It may be more intimidating for a man to attend hot yoga than a woman but I haven't let that bother me yet since I had attended Krank.
I do notice that my lower back & knee pain goes away after a session of hot yoga but not a session at Krank. The heat has something to do with it.
