IE's !! and of course our DELIGHTFUL
(Puppies !) and cos I've been on other teams,, ALL OTHERS who are either NEw to their challenges,,, or as with MOST of us,,, remembering when they WERE !!
Today as I went to do the figures for the Spirited Under Dawg team (A part of the 5% challenge,, in which we do as we can to lose 5% of our weight in 8 weeks ! This IS DO aBLe !) I saw some new Puppies writing things such as "I am sorry, I didn't do enough" or "I feel bad about what I did".
That I "suppose" is a "normal" feeling when we are new, but !!!! U GOTtA REMEMBAH most of you have NOT had a regular schedule of exercise, itwasn't regular or much. WHY Beat urself U Pfor this???? We ALL STARTED OFF as NEW at one time. WE DO Realize you are seeing quite a lot report 60 to 120 mins a day, and some 20 mins day. Do you know that the 20 mins for a NEW PUPPY (or NEW member on ANY team) is GREAT???? When I started out,,,, I was also reading "The SPARK" book,,,, which can be bought on Amazon.com for 12.95 and perhaps by now,,,with a NEW book "The SPaRK Solution' out,,, maybe you can now also buy on ur favorite book site for less,,, such as ebay,,,and the book sites,,, I had a gr8 site,,, I've since forgotten it,,,, now I download most books. I have a tablet. In these books,, Chris Downings,, the founder of "SPARKPEOPLE.com" who struggles with tis issue also,, at first encourages us to do a STREAK of 10 mins of exercise a DAY. If you are new,,,how about setting up a STReak and if you are doing the 20 /30 mins as you can (hopefully if a Dawggie,,, you will take off one day,, AFTAH we land,,, usually on Mon or Wds,,U will know cos we email the team this info.
In knowing I started out at 10 mins for the FIRST 2 weeks,, than 20 mins on the 3 and 4th wek,,, than 30 on the 5 /6th week,,, and than I QUICKLY got EXCITED !! I had kept my goals Reasonable for myself,,,,, it didn't take long b4 I was at the 120 mins,,,,,but, when I HURT which can be OFTEN (Feet ohhhhhhh FEET and BAcK !),,, I DO drop down to about 60 mins. A few days a chal,,,, I do NOT do hardly anything if the pain is to much. NEVR EVaH Make the PAIN WORsE no matter what by over doing things !!! Just write to the leader of ur group and let them KNOW AT ONCE what's happenin. AlL Teams I've ever been on are VERY GOOD about this.
If you are able to excer a LOT OR NOT,,, the MOST important tool we have is the TRACKER !! SO TRACK !! TRACK !!! TRACK ur cals !!!!
This (Trackin) is the WAY TO TRUE Success !! along with exer, and DRINKIN WATaH !!!
I was at 288 when I first started to make changes.Now I am at 211 this week. (it goes up and down some,, hey that's LIFE ! NO NEED to get UPSET with the flucations,,, its NORMAL !!!
