Empty nest

Sunday, October 13, 2013

In my life I have heard about being an "empty nester" and never quite understood the meaning. Now that my husband and I are "empty nesters" I still am not sure I understand. We have decided that living for us now is what this time is all about. God blessed us with three angels for a temporary period of time to raise and help to learn to fly. Now that we have completed His requested task, He has provided us time to sit back and enjoy the benefits of our labor. So I say to anyone else out there, just remember anything can be considered negative, depressing, or hard to accept but why? Especially when God has given us the option of choice -- we have chose to make it a more positive experience and enjoy our labor of planting while accepting our harvest as another blessing.
