I need to re-boot my motivation after being sick for the past week. Hard to get going again. I did a bare minimum of exercise the last two days but finding it hard to work up to a real workout again. I know the last two times I walked I realized my right shoe was loose on my foot. My feet are different widths as my left foot is always swollen. So maybe a new pair of walking shoes will be just the thing to get me going again. Still a little stuffed up but not coughing as much so hopeful this will be a much better week.
I have been tracking my food consistently. This is one of the things I have really had a problem doing in the past. I like to make lot's of new recipes and don't like entering them in the tracker. We had brussel sprouts from the garden last night that were amazing! They had a little bit of bacon, some shallots, and a bread crumb topping. I also made an apple phyllo pie, only 173 calories per serving and delicious. For some reason I was hungry for an Iowa Chop, so we put some thick pork chops on the grill. Low fat and delicious. I must be feeling better because I hadn't been hungry all week.
