1. Liam came home much sooner than anticipated. He is in great shape and great spirits. Praying the doctors can keep the cocktail of hormones balanced as he grows, so he can stay healthy.
2. Jo moved in with her daughter after she lost her house to a fire last week. She got out with the animals and one shoe. I think this move will be good for her, but her son who was her care taker is going to be reeling from this fire. He lost his son about 20 years ago in a house fire then struggled with drugs and depression after that. Praying that he can find his comfort in God and not the drugs. He still has responsibilities on the farm and can stay with another sister so he is still needed. That should help.
3. My great nephew just got into more trouble with his drug of choice. His father suffers from depression and it is feared he has inherited the same tendency. Also requesting prayers for him to find a healthy substitute to cope with his depression.
4. My 75 year old sister twisted her knee again and had to cancel three trips. One that was not refundable. She offered me a free week in Las Vegas at a nice condo. I just needed to come up with air fare on two days notice. Wouldn't you know it, my renters were late with their rent, the check cleared the bank, but the airline wouldn't accept my debit card and the money I put on my credit card has not posted yet and don't want an overdraft there. Out of six people I called to go with me, no one was available despite being retired. So, we decided maybe my guardian angels were warning me not to go. Made the decision to stay home and got my property tax notices in the mail. I had completely forgotten about them. Now I have money to pay that bill. Thank you Lord for keeping me on the straight and narrow. Please say a healing prayer for my wonderful Sis who I had a lot of fun plotting and planning this trip with despite it not happening.
Now I want to save air fare to visit her in February. I am happy and feeling great.
Thanks for listening and praying.
