Haven't really written anything meaningful lately since there's not much to update right now. Still haven't gotten my act in gear, but I am still trying. Still working where I work. Only thing there that's really changed is this one lady who worked there quit last month and he hired someone to replace her. Let's just say she's a moron. Things are not getting done because she can't remember how to do one bloody thing. So now I'm doing all but two things of that job now. I guess on the plus side, I don't have to worry about running out of things to do now because I'm swamped.

And an update on my killer car thing. What had happened was the calipers, the pieces that hold the brake shoes, had completely locked up and was holding my brakes on that one side down on my rotor. They disconnected the brake line, tried C-clamps, all kinds of stuff, they would not release. So I had to get them replaced. They said the brakes had worn down but I had about a month or two before it got really bad, but I'd be fine to drive it again. Two days later, the brake light comes on. So I figure it's a sensor thing to say the brake had worn down and needed to be changed. The day after that, I was running some errands in town and went to stop and couldn't. My brakes were completely gone. I take it back in to work the next day to be looked at and the MORON who had changed the calipers had somehow managed to trash my brake line on that side and it had leaked ALL of my brake fluid out, causing me to completely lose my brakes. So my boss had to hunt around for another brake line because Ford doesn't make that part anymore. Makes sense, the bloody thing is about 16 years old. Finds one and has someone else fix it because my husband and I were beyond furious at that point and said that if he so much as put another finger print on that car, he'd find himself on the butt end of a butt whooping. To put it in the G-rated form... Anyway, we finally have the stupid thing back. It's working more or less. But what's funny is that the other day it was making yet another funny noise and I was really mad about that. It's been in the shop 3 times in the last 2 weeks. So I started screaming at it. Literally. I said that if it didn't knock this crap off and stop trying to kill me, I was gonna turn on the cruise control and let it drive itself off a cliff. The noise stopped. Coincidence, probably. But it is rather funny.

Anyway, that's pretty much it for this round. Except for a joke I'm going to add to the end of this. Hope things are going well for all the rest of you. Take care, all, and keep sparking!

emoticon for sharing! I can understand why you would be frustrated with your car! I have taken my car in for an oil change, and had things happen that were not there to begin with. Sometimes I wonder about auto mechanics and how much training they have achieved. I always have to pray that my car will come out the way it went in, well of course without the problem lol. I hope that things get better! Have a blessed week! emoticon emoticon emoticon
