Loving yourself, when and how

Loving yourself is a tricky concept, maybe I'm nitpicking a bit, but I think it's very important.
Loving or hating yourself while you obese or any other condition for that matter makes you keep doing what you've been doing...eating or doing other things to your body.
Most people understand destructive nature of their actions, be it overeating, drug use, prostitution, excessive piercing, plastic surgeries you name it.
If you hate yourself you keep doing it to punish yourself.
If you love yourself you maintain your behavior out of love.

To start changing yourself you need to ACCEPT YOURSELF, and that is much easier said then done. Only by accepting you can take measures to change yourself, turn your behaviors 180 degrees and at long last start moving towards your goal, not away from it.

And that's where you will find love with yourself, not when you meat your goal but when you direction will become steady, unbreakable by small things and inevitably leading to better yourself. Loving yourself at that moment is very important, and again by loving yourself you'll keep on going.
