My husband and I walked early this morning. We were supposed to mow the lawn but the grass was too wet. While we were eating breakfast, my stepdaughter called to say she was sick. My husband went over to see about her and we had to go get her medicine from the pharmacy. She wanted him to sit there with her but we had to go. We went to Palmdale to his sister's house and the step daughter was supposed to go with us. I thought that was why she was saying she was sick because she didn't want to go. As it turns out, she didn't want my husband to go either. While we were in Plamdale she called again. He asked her if she was taking the medication. She said no. He told her don't call him if she can't take her medication. I think she needs a head doctor but that's his child. My husband was asking me why she was riding him like that. He says she doesn't call her mother with this stuff. I said because her mother is not going to fall for it. I said you do. He said he wasn't going back over there tonight. So far, he is sticking to his word. I told him that his daughter got up every day this week to go to work. And now it's the weekend and she knows that he doesn't have to go to work. We will probably be going back over there tomorrow. We ended up leaving his sister's house early. My husband wasn't feeling well. I think this stuff with his daughter is getting to him. We did have a nice time though. We played a trivia game, the guys against the girls. It was fun.

Sometimes grown children are just as much work as when they were little. She does sound likes she is manipulating your hubby, and he is falling for it. Help him stay strong, so she will grown up.

My family, my mother, brother and his kids, lives in Bakersfield. I have driven through Palmdale many a day.

Be blessed this day!
