NEWS LETTER OCTOBER 2013 firstname.lastname@example.org
Time will soon be here for my second knee surgery. As you know I had the left one done now it is time for the right one. My date for August came and went as they postponed it and I hobbled worse and worse. I can hardly wait for this one to be done so I can walk right again.
October the 18th will be my surgery date.
Many people are praying for me and I so appreciate it. My surgeon is a good one God led me to and you can hardly see the scar. As you know from the last time I will probably be in the hospital three days and in rehab for almost a month. I know what to expect this time.
Wonderful Physical Therapy.
Visitors from church
Some nurses and CNA’S good and some not so good.
But I made it through. Praise the Lord.
A long time ago I read a scripture that said “Once I was young and now I am Old(er) and I have not see the righteous forsaken or His seed begging bread”. I have lived by that scripture for many years now and know that when I was a tiny baby the Lord watched over me as I was born in my parent’s house, He was with me as I lived through the depression with my mom and dad and siblings, He was with me when I sought Him and found Him and He has been with me for the over 55 years I have been in the ministry.
I thank God for you, for your prayers and your support as we planted seed and watched it mature and bring forth. I have many children and grandchildren in the Lord who are working for Him.
I thank God for the pastors who I work with in Reynosa and also for all of the Bible Schools I taught in and the missionaries there also. I was able to build churches other than the Reynosa one because of you.
The pastor’s in Mexico are still doing a great job. The last time I met with the pastor’s son on our side of the border he asked prayer for his mother and also for his own family. He was a little kid when I met them now is a grown man with a wife and a little girl.
Thank you all who pray and give. God bless you mightily.
