Why?

Spark Coach asked me why I want to lose weight. Yes, health concerns play into the mix. Strengthening my immune system is a biggie.

But, mostly, I want to play with my husband. Yeah, that, but I really mean that when he goes kayaking, I want to go with him, and be able to get out of the kayak when we finish, I want to keep up with him when he walks the dog. Basically, I just want to be included in his and my adult children's activities without holding them back. I want to take part in things that I used to avoid, not because they made me breathless, but because people saw that I was breathless. (Never let them see you sweat?)

    Let them see you sweat - they will love you for it. For what you want to do, strength training will certainly aide you in your endeavors. emoticon
