Ounce by ounce you will get there.
How? By doing what it is you need to do. Like tracking all your nutrition. Even if you eat more calories than you are allotted for the day. Enter it all into the Nutrition Tracker. Every meal. Every day.
It's too hard to do that? Too much work to keep track? There's not enough time? You're too busy? You think it will cause you to focus solely on food? Really? What did you gain by not keeping your focus on food and how much of it you were eating?
Ounce by ounce you will get there. How? By doing what it is you need to do. Like portioning out all your nutrition. With a digital kitchen scale and measuring spoons. By reading the Nutrition Facts Label (with comprehension!) on every item you consume.
See where it says Serving Size? That number is not a suggestion. It is fact. See the gram weight in the same line (The figure with the g next to it)? That is the serving size. That is why you need a digital kitchen scale and measuring spoons. They are crucial for portion control.
You have to make sure your serving size is exact. The only way to do that is to measure it.
That way you know you're doing exactly what it is you need to do to reach your goal.
Food is not your enemy. Food is fuel for living. Food does not control you. You control food. Food does not choose you. You choose food. Make the best choice possible. Ensure your success.
Narrow your focus. Ounce by ounce you will get to a pound. Focus on losing one pound a time. Pound by pound you will get there.
How do I know? Because 405 days ago (57.857 weeks ago) , I weighed 60 pounds more than I do right now.
I already reached my first goal of 50 pounds lost. I am focused on reaching my second goal of an additional 20 pounds lost and am halfway to my second goal.
If I can do it, so can you.
How did I do it? Focus.
