Wow! Congratulations on your weight loss! That is a FANTASTIC accomplishment! If getting dolled up helps with your self-confidence, I say GO FOR IT. I was referring more to the younger ladies who clearly come to the gym to snag a guy instead of for their personal health like you obviously do. Keep up the great work & thank you for the comment & taking the time to watch! Have a fabulous day! 987 days ago
I sent a comment through email as well to this creative entertaining blog. It is obvious you are well acquainted with gym life.
I agree with everything except the putdown about wearing makeup and designer workout clothes. I do not leave my house without makeup and personal grooming which includes colorful workout clothes for the gym/pool or creative tasteful outfits for activities and errands. After losing 89 pounds so far in the journey of losing 100 I feel really good about myself. I have self-confidence and care about the way I look. I posted a pic of my 229 pounds stage on my SparkPage to remind me of where I never want to return...unkept and not groomed and FAT. LOL! I am almost 68 and maybe my age inspires to be meticulous in my appearance. Whatever the case, I like my style and that is what matters.
This video blog is very creative and simply delightful. I so agree about The Socializers.....they also abound in the swimming pool. LOl! I also think they need to go out for coffee....which they probably do after they leave the gym and pool. LOL! It would also be nice if people would spray and wipe down their workout station with antibacterial solution which is always provided for health purposes.....not everyone does this.
Thank you for sharing your insightful comments and wonderful sense of humor.
