Tomorrow is day 3 of the 6th week of couch to 5K. I've run two 12-minute intervals twice now and it's been awesome! Lost two pounds this week, which is great, but the crazy thing is how much different I feel. I feel like I've lost 30 pounds - which I obviously haven't - just because of the better food and the exercise. I have to make sure I eat enough now because there were a couple of 700 calories days this week which was not my goal. A couple of times I just felt so non-hungry it didn't feel necessary to eat. I did, however, put a post-it note on my scale saying 'only on Friday's' because I found myself falling back into the weighing-myself-three-times-a-
day habit, which I know is not just compulsive but also not remotely a reflection of what is going on.
My goal is to wake up early and drive downtown with my son and run along the riverfront. Hope everyone's having a great night!
