Here's what's been happening...
Late last week i paid a visit to Big 5 sporting goods on request from my Podiatrist. I ahve had severe muscle pain in my right food which has been keeping me from walking. (My favorite form of exercise) I got 2 pairs of shoes. One is New Balance with high arch support and the other is a Dr. Scholl's. I tried on a Nike, too but the other 2 were the most comfy. I find that when I walk with Leone on gr4ass water seeps in the sole of the Dr. Scholl's pair. I ahd a visit on Tuesday with my Dr. and he is pleased with the results. I'm walking a mile a day again. Sadly though as I am enduring my much loved form of exercise I turn a deaf ear to teens who mutter nonsense about me being drunk on the trail. I ahve balance issues due to meniere's disease and MG. But I'm walking.
Sunday night i stayed overnight at the hospital. I had a sleep study performed. The first time I had this done 3 years ago i could not get to sleep as I was way too nervous. I did manage to sleep this time and soundly. I ahd electrodes taped to my legs, chest, neck, faace and scalp. I pointed out it seems there are more electrodes this time. She said just this one on your chin. It's a microphone. We will see everything you do from the next room and up there that's a camera we will record your sleep for your Dr. to view and the microphone we will hear you if you talk or snore. At one point during the night I found myself slipping down further under the blankets and pulling them up over my chin and microphone and due to the onions consumed at dinner there was a gassage passage. (my words) Oh goodness. Both technicians ran in to see if i was okay. LOL Well today, Friday I await the results of this test. I ahve been waking up too many times after I go to sleep at night.
I also bought my daughter, Ashley a pair of shoes and we went to her home yesterday just to be chased away when we got to her porch by a swarm of bee's. Ugh! This was my only stressor in years. Not bad for an old lady. But it did ahve me running.
