Discovery Day

emoticon You were in my thoughts less yesterday (Thursday) but that was because I was very busy at work and I spread my lunch over a longer period. Had lunch at 2p and then had my salad at 4p. Went to the foodstore - I was hungry but I did not go as far as the cookie aisle. Did not even stop to get fast food for my son. Came home and prepared something. But at the end of the day calorie count 1762. I am disappointed but it's better than 2000. Carbs went over by 62. Fat and Sodium were within range and Protein was below. Grade =D

This is a holiday day weekend (Monday is a holiday). I am soooooooooo Happy. We are celebrating Discovery Day. Well I am discovering a more content person. I want to be consistent.

    Happy Discovery day! Here in the states we call it Columbus day. I work for the Texas State but we don't have off today. No mail or Libraries are open today :/

    You tried to do the best you could for that day, just let it go and concentrate on today and just do your best for today. I can't imagine anyone having a prefect day everyday or for that matter any day in the real world of life, we just do the best we can and keep moving on. Have a fabulous fall Friday.

    No mater what goals I set or my determination to keep them, I usually manage to fail at something every day. Thank goodness it isn't always the same something!! So instead of focusing on what I haven't accomplished, I try and focus on what I've done right. Instead of "To - do's" I have an "It's Done" list. So yesterday, for example, I drank 64 ounces of water, photographed the pink fountain, and posted my Blog on Spark. I walked 12,000 steps.

I also ate 500 more calories than I should have eaten, but that doesn't make it onto my list.
