My Snaggles cat should be scary. He is a black cat (well, where he has not chewed off his fur). He is so dear and gentle. He is compulsive about washing. Then he became itchy. I am scared that something is really wrong. We took him to the vet.

He is back on predisone. He may need prozac. He is a crazy cat. I found some herbal remedies to give him to calm his nerves. I did not expect to have this many problems. The cat seemed to get better.

I try to hold him and comfort him. I am washing clothing with gentle soaps ( low allergens). I clean more and more with baking soda and white vinegar.

He gets Fancy Feast and Purina One. Here's hoping he calms down. He does not have to wash that often for me!

Hope you can figure out the issue with him. That has to be hard on his body.

You may find that the food may need to be changed too. I have had to do special foods for my kitties, but it helped a lot. We love our furry families, don't we!
