Haven't Blogged in a awhile

Thursday, October 10, 2013

I haven't blogged in a while since I have been dealing with a foot injury. I was running in a race on September 28th and I landed wrong on a rock. My foot has been bruised ever since. That was 2 weeks ago this coming Saturday and I have missed a run, a Zumbathon and will miss a Zumbathon this Friday and a Zumba training this Saturday. I am sooo Frustrated at this point. I go see another doctor this coming Tuesday but that is after I suffer through what was supposed to be an AWESOME weekend. anywho I hope you guys have a great Thursday.

I know it's frustrating to sit back and watch all the stuff you planned on doing just slip on by. However, like PLATINUM755 said, think of things you can do that does not put pressure or utilizes your foot. Also, just because you can't go to the Zumbathon or do Zumba, that doesn't mean this weekend can't be great! Find other things you can do and make it awesome with other things! I hope your foot gets better soon!

emoticon and sorry to hear about your foot. I know it's frustrating when you have your plans set and a rock is thrown into the mix. I found that shifting gears helped a lot, i.e., stationary bike, lying on floor exercises for lower body, or shift the focus completely to another part of the body, as your foot heals. emoticon
