A lovely day part 2

Thursday, October 10, 2013

Here is the second half of my blog about the visit to the lake.
We finished about half way around. And here is the view looking East.

We think this is a Canada Goose, but not sure

A beautiful garden beside the Road.

Moving round the lake still looking East.

Looking South towards Butser Hill with the radio mast on top.

A distant view of Butser and the South side of the lake

Lots of beautiful hawthorn berries

The branches are heavily laden

Beautiful reeds and grasses swaying in the breeze

The south East side

Adrian enjoying the sunshine

Lots of mallards and Cootes

The Eastern corner with the sun dancing on the water

It glittered like diamonds.

Hazy light shining through the trees on the way back to the car park

Autumn colours are here at last.

We arrived back at the car park which was packed.

I think I will do some blogs with the photos I took last year. Please say if you think its a good idea. Some will be castles and I have loads of photos.

Hugs Ellen
