I've been out of the job market for two years. I decided to return to work this fall. Today I had a great 2nd interview. This got me thinking though...will I be able to keep up my workouts? Desk jobs can take a lot out of you, especially this position that I have interviewed for. Maybe I am putting the cart before the horse here, but can I maintain my healthy lifestyle after I start working?
In reality, workouts don't consume much of my day now. I mainly workout in the evening. I can get to the gym in the am if necessary. I can do it...right? It will be a matter of motivation. Am I willing to do what it takes to continue to lose weight? Do I want to go back to my previous physical state? How important is this lifestyle for me?
I know the answers, but still I worry. It's easier to measure food, prepare meals, grocery shop, and organize your life, when you don't have a full time job.
However, there are so many people that are doing this right NOW! I don't know what makes me think that I can't do it too. I want to continue on this good path I am on. I want to continue to achieve my fitness goals. I want to continue to eat healthy and feel good.
It will be an adjustment, but it is NOT impossible.
