A couple of the pounds came off

Wednesday, October 09, 2013

I was able to get a walk in yesterday...4 miles. Drank lots of water as well...and as many of you said some of those 3 pounds would come off....well 2 of them down from 109 to 107. Today though woke up with sore throat...bummer. Gargled with salt water to see if that will help. Just don't want to get sick. I am using hand sanitizer like crazy.

Had fun teaching my grandson how to make a meatloaf for dinner. He did a great job following directions and it was fun.
Hope you all are doing great. Chilly here in Philly today. Will try and get out for a walk but might only got 2 miles depending on the chill factor.

That looks like so much fun. For the sore throat,
a chemist in Canada had told me years ago to
gargle with lukewarm water, baking soda and salt
up to six times a day and he had said it was the best.
Hope it clears soon Sallie. Enjoy your day.

That is FABULOUS! I remember when my 2 were that age and LOVED to help me cook. DS is 21 and now on his own and loves to cook! So it rubbed off. DD, well she's 18 and figures I guess she'll always have someone to cook for her. BWHAHAHAHAHA Wait till SHE gets married (DOWN THE ROAD! She's my baby and only 18!)

You look great. Glad 2 of the 3 lbs. came off. It happen, doesn't it! HUGS

Please do not touch raw meats with bare hands. Re-teach them now, Sallie. LOL. JK, but the bare hands is real.

Your grandkids are gorgeous and they look like loads of fun!! Stay well if you can. I can't be around the grandkids in the fall without getting a sniffle or two. Or it may be that east coast air...
