I set these reasons at the beginning of the month but guess what?! I kinda experienced a 'gasp' moment just this week! My really good friend from work has been on annual leave for 2 weeks. She came back on Monday and the first thing she said was 'OMG Adz you've lost so much weight!' I didnít really know what to say! But it felt good. I have to agree with her actually (yep, this is me giving myself a compliment, woulda thunk it!): in the last few weeks I have really seen my body change quite drastically. I havenít been weighing myself but there is no number on the scale that I am aiming for, more a size of clothing. But I wear things now that used to be quite tight but are now fitting quite loosely, I can see amazing toning in my arms, my waist is a lot slimmer and my hips don't jut out so much. So I'm definitely on the right track.
Again, don't get me wrong, I am totally doing this for myself. But I have to be honest, it is a good feeling that other people notice. This reason is quite connected to my blog a few days ago actually ('To not feel anxious about seeing someone I havenít seen for a long time and wondering what my weight was the last time they saw me'). I guess this is the opposite. I wouldnít even mind just knowing that I was the same weight, so no gasp but no possible negative thoughts either.
Anywho, hope everyone is enjoying their week. I'm off for the next 2 days; my whole department are going to Bristol (another part of England about 2 hours away from London) for team bonding and all that jazz. I can't wait, it's going to be a lot of fun. I'll be eating breakfast at home tomorrow, but then lunch and dinner on the Thursday, and breakfast and lunch on the Friday all in the hotel in Bristol. PLUS we're planning a big night of drinking and fun on the Thursday night so that could beÖinteresting. We'll see. I'm not stressing, and I definitely plan on staying on track as much as possible, at least with my food if not the alcohol.
