Temp is dropping

Wednesday, October 09, 2013

Well week 1 is complete and I weighed in at 272 which means I'm 4 lbs down from last week. The alarm went off this morning at 5 and I got up and headed out the door. It felt so great outside. The temp has dropped dramatically in the last few days. It was 47 degrees outside this morning and lord knows I am very hot natured so I loved it. I'm trying to run again after being very sick with bronchitis and I feel like I'm starting over at the beginning. I had my Gymboss set to do intervals of 2 minute walk and 1 minute run. It wasn't too bad but my lungs are just not as good as I would like them to be but it's a process like everything else. Then it was off to shower and go to work.

I got home from work and was so excited because Lancelot was supposed to make me dinner but low and behold he was nowhere to be found. My phones acting up (I think it's time to get a new one) so I texted him to see where he was. Needless to say I wasn't getting the dinner I was looking forward to. All of a sudden I get a FB alert from my niece in England that there's been a wreck in front of her dads house down the road that has literally taken out his driveway so I went to check it out. Turns out I knew the kid. He had blacked out and went into the ditch taking out my brothers mailbox and then hitting the culvert of the driveway which launched him in the air and rolled before coming to a stop. The whole front end of the car was gone. He came out of the wreck with a possible broken arm and the boy wasn't wearing his seatbelt. DUM DUM DUM. I'm just grateful he was ok. There's a weird rise in the road there and my brother has had 4 big accidents land in his yard since he's lived there. Well I hope everyone has a great week. Next weigh in is Monday. See ya then. KK
