Another Coworker Asked if I Had Lost Weight

Tuesday, October 08, 2013

and if it was on purpose. She said that fat had disappeared from my face and neck. I told her that basically I eliminated grains from my diet. And always drink water first when I got hungry to test if it's hunger or thirst. She asked if I get the carbohydrate withdrawal symptoms? I said no, this is not Atkins. I can eat all the fruits, vegetables and meats I want. I told her that it's a better way to live. You just eat only the good stuff and leave the fillers, the concentrated carbs behind. She's going on an overseas trip and is afraid of gaining weight with all the eating that is coming her way. I told her to enjoy herself and eat only the good stuff but don't touch the starches.

I find it hard to believe that I missed the good life all these years and was eating plenty of inferior foods.

It is always nice when others notice and then ask in a nice way what you're doing.

Amen, amen, amen. People always look at me strangely when I say I don't eat grains.
