Have you ever felt hungry for something but not know what exactly? That's me today. I know what we having for dinner tonight (a quickie beef stew), but I'm hungry for something...I just don't know what!
It's a sweet craving..more a savory one...and something that feels good in my mouth. Sometimes I swear I find myself eating something just for the texture of it. How it feels when I crunch it, or how silky smooth something is. So I have decide that over eating is just not about taste..it's also about texture. However that insight still doesn't help me figure out what I'm craving for.
I made it back into the gym today. And I'm loving my new tablet. I started watching The Croods on it and the picture was amazing! Plus no lag...no freezing...no buffering. It was great! Battery life, so far today, seems good too. Anyway..I did 60 mins on the elliptical today. My HRM only gave 329 calories burned. I really think it's on it;s last legs. Good thing I ordered a new Polar FT4 Heart Rate Monitor. It should be tomorrow. It's pink and purple. I hope I get better calorie burn read outs with it.
I also signed back up for Amazon Prime. It's getting close to time to shop for Christmas and with Amazon Prime I get free 2 day shipping when I buy stuff! That could come in handy.
Hubby is loving his tablet too. Except he's using my PINK ear buds. We're going to have to get him some more "manly" ones.
So far it's been a quiet day at work. But I can't wait to get off and head home. I had to stop at Wally World this morning (they are open 24/7 here) for some Ranch Dressing for hubby's lunch. I send him veggie packs (carrots, celery, and broccoli) to snack on and he likes Ranch with it.
Last night wasn't a good night eating for me. I had a major snack attack! Maybe not enough "real" food during the day? I had lots of yogurt and salad throughout the day. Maybe I need to add some more protein so I don't get the snackies at night?
So that's it for me today. Just 3 more days until the weekend!
