Last Sunday our church held services at Brackenridge Park in San Antonio. It was a beautiful day. We took the fur kids and they were really well behaved. They sat quiet and still for the entire service. It was a great morning but after the sermon we had a picnic. I had a hamburger and half a hot dog and got sick. I forgot my body doesn't process simple carbs very well. I think the white bread got me. It slowed me down and I was pretty much down for the count the rest of the day. It made me frustrated but at least I got to rest. I'll hang on to that sick feeling to remind me why I NEED to eat healthy at ALL times
Before the sermon we walked the dogs so the day wasn't a total fitness DAY lost.

The kids are lovely. It's a good thing your body rebelled - it's letting you know it has changed and so have you. When my body rebels I know I am sick (seriously sick) and not just an upset stomach. I need a more sensitive stomach. 1088 days ago
