Was reading over my last blog and am quite disappointed in myself. I'm the biggest procratinator I know, I think! I haven't started my drinking water Spark Streak yet. I signed up for the Better Sleep in 4 weeks Challenge and haven't started that yet.

Lately, the biggest hurdle in my life to all of this is due to procrastination. My second job is doing handwriting projects for a company in my hometown. I tend to think I can take on more than I actually can and end up staying up until all hours of the morning trying to get the project done before the deadline. Most of the time, if I quit PROCRASTINATING and do some a little bit at a time, I won't be staying up until all hours of the night and will be able to get more that 3-4 hours of sleep!

As far as the water streak, it would help if I actually went and BOUGHT some water! The drinking fountain here at work is NASTY, so that's not an option. I could get it out of the faucet, but not wild about the taste. My co-worker bought a 12-pack of water and I'm currently drinking one of hers. I think I'll hit the store after my HoopFusion class tonight and get some for myself.

We're starting a Focus 13 challenge at the Hoop Studio on Thursday. Talk about motivation...if I gain pounds or inches during the 13-week challenge, I have to put $1 in the "pot" for each pound or inch I gain. If I lose pounds or inches, I earn points toward things like massages, pedicures, etc. I tend to do fairly well on those challeges because I'm accountable to someone. I need to learn to be accountable to myself!

I also need to be better about following through and consistency. Last Thursday, I still had about 2,000 steps to go on my Fitbit to reach my 10,000 steps after my Hoop class. So, I went to the Fitness Center in my hometown and walked on the treadmill to hit my 10,000. I had planned on doing that every day. Did I do it? NOPE!! So far, just the one day...and I haven't synched my Fitbit in a while to know how I'm doing as far as progress. Guess I'll have to do that tonight....

Anyway, there's always something I can improve on...this time, it's getting over my procrastination tendencies!

Have a wonderful day, all!

Maybe you should try smaller goals....sounds like you have a lot going on. I too am a procrastinator...I am my own worst enemy.
I started out with water (I hate it) I put a little of crystal lite in it just to give it a reason to swallow....HAH it works.
I started with 1000 steps a day. Add a little bit every day. It works.
I wish you well in your journey...I like the frog!!
