Ugh what a weekend. Picking up the pieces (of a car) this week and figuring out who pays for what. My son had his first wreck over the weekend. He is fine and there were no injuries, but both he and the other driver swear they had a green light. No one was cited and it is now up to the insurance companies to agree to who was at fault and who pays for what. It was in one of my cars. He is on his momís policy since his primary address is there. Evidently in Ohio the insurance follows the driver. Which means most likely his momís insurance company will have to pay to fix some of the damages to my car. Sounds like hers and mine pay for some of it. Needless to say, she is a bit mad about that and is not happy fixing my car may end up costing her and her husband extra money on their insurance premium. Never mind it will cost me the $500 deductible to get it fixed up front. I may get it back, I may not. Depends on the insurance companies fighting it out. Which I have to pay half of anything not covered by health insurance for doctor visits for the kids, but I am not sure if that applies in a case like this. So, I am tempted to really make it bad and tell her she owes me half the deductible. Not sure how much of a case I have for that though.
My exes knee jerk reaction to all this is that as long as my son is on her policy he is now no longer allowed to drive anyone elseís car. Including and probably especially mine. Which means I canít use him at all on Friday mornings to drive himself and his sister to school. So much for making things easier. Ugh.
So, it has been a stressful couple days. Diet has taken a hit again due to the stress. Ugh. Back on it today though. I did take Sunday off working out but that was a planned rest day since I had gone 6 in a row. Plus I had done a lot on Saturday earlier in the day. Last night was nice. Due to being down to one car, I took the bus to the gym and got there way early for spinning, so I got changed and hopped on the bike and did a little extra light work as a warm up. Basically spun on the bike for an extra 30 minutes and it felt good.
So, things are hopefully sort of back to normal or at least as abnormal as they usually are. lol
