My story is such a long one when it comes to weight and how it has impacted my life. At this stage I am trying to see this journey as a lifestyle change and a way to get healthy. At my highest I weighed 475 pounds, and the lowest in over 35 years was 214 lbs. I want to get to that goal first, and I am taking it in ten pound increments. I restarted at 287 and am now 263. I am exercising every day and am really concentrating on getting lots of protein in. I also drink lots of water (though it is annoying to get up at nite to use the bathroom!). I would love to break the 200 mark someday and now I am believing I can. I am trying to be patient and do what I need to do to achieve success; am trying not to sabatoge myself with negativity and emotional turmoil.
