Hey there Sparkies, I hope you are having a wonderful day today. I am a little tired right now and thought "blog, blog about it". So I think I will!! In the title "Love it and lose it" I am referring to love your food and your work out and lose weight because you are doing what you like. I have just finished my longest workout I have done using my 2 kilo dumbells.
And I loved every minute of it. I really enjoyed it, it was with my playlist of songs I like. I got through ten songs and it worked out at over 35 minutes. I basically do exercises to the music and I go with the flow. If the music is fast I speed up and it is strenuous but I feel great. I usually use my 1 kilo ones. The 2 kilo were much heavier and I am on a mission. My arms did swing just a tad!! I mean the flaps, the excess skin. I have "fat ladies arms". I am very broad in the arms. I want to have nicely shaped arms and shoulders by the time I am finished. I am not sure how far that will work with the flapping skin as it gets more flappy. I aren't so bothered about the loose skin-well I will decide that later. It is going to be there. I don't want muscley arms, just nicely shaped . I aren't a fan of muscles bulging all over the place. No offence to people who are working on the really sculped look. It's just not for me.
I guess what I'm saying is if we enjoy what we are doing to better our health then it will be so much easier to achieve them goals.
I can't say how much I love my dumbells, and I aren't going to throw my opinions or interests down anybody's throats. I don't agree with that. I have a few things that I might do when I get closer to my final goal. I might not as well, but I know I will open so many options up of things I have never done. I quite like soccer and may even start a lady's fun soccer group, just for fun and fitness.
Actually that could be very fun. Marshall arts, more for fitness and self defence I may join some form of karate. And I am a great believer that in this violent world every girl and even boys could benefit from learning karate or some marshall art. Yep soccer or hockey could be fun fun fun.
Oh the possibilites of what to do when weight or size is not an issue. Also when being judged,or ridiculed will not be an issue. There is so much to look forward to, I am going to get there. Every day, every work out and every step of the way I am going to love it and lose it!!
