Today was the first day starting my raw vegan diet. I plan on doing this for 30 days. I will be using this blog to document the food I eat, how I feel, my weight, and my activity level. During this time I will not be counting calories. I will be eating at least three meals a day and having two snacks. Iím not depriving myself of any calories and I will be eating to my heartís content. I get the majority of my recipes from pinterest so Iíll be posting the websites as well if anyone is interested in trying these out. My goal is to lose 10 lbs and clean up my eating by the end of this process.
Today I weighed in at 168.8 It was the second day of my period so I was a little bloated and had cramps/headache throughout the day. Itís not related to this diet, just my TOM. I know itís only been day one but I feel incredible! Iíve been eating a 95% vegan diet (5% vegetarian) for the past month or so. The change isnít incredibly drastic, Iím just eating a lot more veggies and fruits and obviously cutting out anything cooked. I LOVED everything I ate today. It was all so delicious. I didnít workout at all because of my cramps/headache but will be working out tomorrow.
w-apple-pie-porridge/ I think this recipe is incredible! To me it tastes very similar to an oatmeal type breakfast but there were not oats I will be making this again and very often!
Snack: Handful of almonds and one ring dried pineapple
Lunch: HUGE Spring Salad full of artichokes, cranberries, pistachios, carrots, apple, and my own oil/balsamic dressing
Snack: Ĺ Banana (I really wasnít hungry and had to force myself to eat)
It tastes even better than it looks! I did not feel like I was being deprived at all! It was very refreshing and I ate every bite.
Fitness: Pedometer tracked 2 miles today, I wasnít feeling well so I didnít want to push it.
Energy: 8- I feel pretty good even though itís my TOM.
I will try to take a picture in the next day or two depending on how bloated I am.
If anyone has any recipe advice or questions feel free to ask away!
