A little rain won't make me melt!

It was a very dreary wet weekend here in Minnesota but that didn't stop me from getting outdoors and enjoying the start of the fall colors.

My friend and I headed out Saturday morning for our weekend run. She had 5 miles in her head, I had more. So we decided to head out and see where our feet led us. It sprinkled through most of the run but it was still refreshing. The cooler temps have been awesome for running! We got to a turning point and were both feeling great so we took another path instead. We ended up getting back to her house at 8.54 miles. She called me a "Slave Driver" and I just smiled. Because the run felt awesome and gave me extra energy for the rest of the day!

So a little rain won't make me melt! It just gives me that extra energy knowing that I did something great for my body!

(I didn't have my phone with on the run and with the rain, I really didn't want it getting wet. So here is a picture from my car after the run. I spared you all from a sweaty selfie after my run... I really needed that shower! LOL)

Great job!! I'm in Oregon, so if you're afraid of melting here, you're never going to make it out. :)

I love running in the rain. It rarely rains here but I take advantage when I can.

Good for you... it would've been easy to allow the rain to be the reason you didn't work out!!

Have a great week!
