The annual soup/sandwich/craft show at the church went as planned. It was a beautiful day outside and that may have caused some to get out and do things other than go to this event indoors. Oh, well, I took six cloth pumpkins and one lady bought them all. I also sold a wooden gingerbread boy hanging. I brought home just enough bean soup for our supper
and I bought a quart jar of vegetable soup to bring home. We had good food and fellowship.
Afterwards, we went to the farm to get milk and eggs. Paid for the eggs and forgot to bring them home. We bought some strings of onions, too, and I guess that caused me to forget the eggs. Hoping to get back to the farm today to get the eggs.
tired Sunday morning. Pastor is still talking about the suicide/bullying aspect. He offered special prayer for any who were still hurt from bullying in their past and needed a "heart" healing.
We had the soup I bought for a light lunch and then after went hiking on the hill. Got stuck in two thickets, knocked a woods tick off my slacks when I went through a deer nesting place. The briers that hit me in my back were awful! I had a walking stick in each hand to keep me from falling. DH had a stick and a paint can. He was repainting the surveyors marks -- the ones that we found anyway. My dog Lady went with us and, being the dog that she is, found part of a carcass to keep her busy. Dogs will be dogs!
Sunday PM, back to church. The Pastor brought the video "The Moment After" to inspire us to reach more souls for the Lord. We also had refreshments.
It was a pretty filled weekend. I have a good feeling about all that was accomplished.
Have a great week to All who stop by this blog!
